Chocolate Eyeball Pancakes

I was supposed to make these chocolate eyeball pancakes on Halloween morning but never got around to it. Needless to say, Elan never forgot my promise and has been bugging me about it for weeks.


A couple of minutes after this photo was taken he fell off the counter and landed smack on his face. Bloody nose and all. Frankly I was surprised that all his teeth were all intact. But it didn't take long for him to stop crying after he got a glimpse and a whif of the product:


They were delicious!
